Avery Williamson gets a big deal and more

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Former Kentucky Wildcats linebacker Avery Williamson had a good day in NFL free agency. Williamson signed a deal with the New York Jets yesterday. The financial terms have not yet been released, but as the top available inside linebacker, Williamson was looking for a contract in the range of $10 million per year.

Many other signings and cuts headlined the day, as Jordy Nelson was cut, Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins found new homes, as did Jimmy Graham, and a bunch of New England Patriots became Tennessee Titans.
