The start of March Madness is here, and the 2018 NCAA Tournament field is set.

Selection Sunday saw the field of 68 teams revealed as the brackets are now set. The No. 1 overall seed with be the Virginia Cavaliers, who earned the top spot after winning the ACC regular-season title and the conference tournament.

Also earning 1 seeds were the Kansas Jayhawks, Villanova Wildcats and Xavier Musketeers. It’s been a fun and crazy regular season, which promises to have an NCAA Tournament full of wild wins and crazy upsets.

You can see that just from the teams who earned 1 seeds this year. Kansas got one despite losing seven regular-season games, including home defeats to Texas Tech, Arizona State, Washington and Oklahoma State.

Xavier lost a pair of games to Providence, who struggled just to make it into the field of 68.

Villanova lost at home to Depaul of all teams.

Just about every team in the field of 68 has suffered a big upset at some point this season, so this could be one of the wilder tournaments in recent memory.
