Kentucky Wildcats vs Missouri Tigers Game Thread

A big SEC matchup at Mizzou Arena.

NCAA Basketball: Vanderbilt at Kentucky Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats are on the road today, aiming to pull off a win versus the Missouri Tigers.

Kentucky is coming off of a last-second home win versus Vanderbilt on Tuesday, in which the Wildcats had to come back in the second half to force overtime before a Quade Green layup in the waning seconds of the game secured a victory.

Missouri is coming off of a big road win at Alabama on Wednesday, which halted a 3-game losing skid for the Tigers. Missouri (14-8, 4-5 SEC) had three consecutive double-digit losses to Texas A&M, Auburn, and Mississippi State before taking down the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

The dynamic of this game changed with the loss of Missouri forward Michael Porter Jr. However, guard Kassius Robertson and forward Jordan Barnett lead the Tigers averaging 16 and 14 points per game, respectively, while Jontay Porter leads the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game and is coming off the game against Alabama where he finished with 13 points in 18 minutes.

Road conference games are no easy task for a young Kentucky team, no matter where they are, so Kentucky will have a tough task in front of them to pick up a win today.
