The latest odds to win the Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship were released by Bovada this week.
Michigan State and Villanova are tied for first (9/2), followed by Duke (6/1) then Purdue and Virginia (both 7/1) to round out the top-5. Arizona and Kansas (16/1), then Oklahoma (18/1), are the only teams in front of the Cats.
Kentucky is currently ranked ninth to win it all (20/1), with West Virginia and Wichita State (both 25/1) right on their heels.
Luckily, the Cats have already played their toughest game of the year and shouldn’t see a road test like West Virginia the rest of the season. They’ll have tough road matchups at Auburn, Florida, Missouri and Texas A&M, but if they can pull out at least one win, then sweep the rest of their home games, their odds shouldn’t decline much.
