The Kentucky Wildcats are on the road in College Station today, seeking to pick up a big-time win against the Texas A&M Aggies.
Kentucky needs a win to avoid a three-game losing streak that could potentially become four with a road game at Auburn coming up next.
The Wildcats are a 5-point underdog in today’s game, as Texas A&M seems to finally be putting it together and coming back around to the team that they were at the beginning of the season.
Kentucky picked up the win in the first matchup of these two teams, a 74-73 victory at Rupp Arena back on January 9, in which Kentucky shot nearly 56 percent from the field.
Kentucky will need a similar offensive effort, although hopefully a little better than the 4-12 they shot from beyond the arc that game.
Tonight will be a tough matchup, and it will be a tall task for the Wildcats to leave with a win from a difficult road environment, but a win would be a major step toward ensuring a berth in the NCAA Tournament and helping with seeding purposes.

Despite the recent struggles, Kentucky has held steady as a five seed in ESPN’s bracketology.
Calipari has been examining lineup changes, but what exactly would that look like?
Calipari had a lot to say about other topics too, including the team’s shooting woes, the Aggies, and passing.
Speaking of passing, we examined this team’s ball movement. It’s an interesting read.
