UK Basketball has 6 out of the top 10 recruiting classes ever

John Calipari has built some of the great recruiting classes ever assembled.

Rivals just came out with a ranking of the best recruiting classes of all time, and Kentucky is all over it.

The Cats dominated the list of 10, claiming 6 of the spots. At a glance, here’s what the rankings looked like:

1. Kentucky’s class of 2013

2. Kentucky’s class of 2009

3. Kentucky’s class of 2017

4. Kentucky’s class of 2015

5. Duke’s class of 2017

6. Kentucky’s class of 2016

7. Duke’s class of 2016

8. Kentucky’s class of 2010

9. Duke’s class of 2018

10. North Carolina’s class of 2006

As you’ve noticed, the championship class of 2011, headlining Anthony Davis did not make the list. What do you think? Should they be?

Also, another thing that sticks out is the fact that next year's Duke class is ranked at #9. They haven’t proved themselves yet because they haven’t had the chance. This list could very well change after we see what they do next year.

It’s been an amazing run for Calipari. Being able to say that he’s had 6 of the top 10 classes ever is a pretty great accomplishment.

With all of the uncertainty in the BBN, it’s good to take a step back and realize what Cal has done with his time at Kentucky. When it’s all said and done, Kentucky will go down as having one of the most dominant runs in College Basketball history in relation to recruiting.

Will he be able to back it up again with next year's class?
