The Kentucky Wildcats have found their 10th assistant coach.
According to KSR, UK will hire Brad White, who was previously with the Indianapolis Colts.
White had been serving as the linebackers coach of the Colts, where he just finished his sixth season with the team. He previously served as the assistant linebackers coach (2014) and the defensive quality control coach (2012-13).
The connection between White and UK is through Dean Hood, who was at Wake Forest while White was there. Hood is now UK’s special teams coordinator, so it’s likely he played a major part in getting White to Lexington.
After watching UK’s defense come apart in 2017 after a promising start, it’s great to see they’re using that 10th assistant spot to add another defensive coach.
