Wednesday’s news regarding Class of 2019 running back Wandale Robinson didn’t come as a total shock, as recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong flipped his pick from Kentucky to Nebraska.
Unfortunately, Wiltfong was indeed correct as Robinson announced on Wednesday afternoon his decommitment from the University of Kentucky to the University of Nebraska.
Robinson had been heavily recruited by Scott Frost’s team before he committed to Kentucky. What came as a shock was the top-100 recruit was talking as recently as yesterday about enrolling at Kentucky in two weeks.
Robinson released this message on Twitter, officially ending his recruitment.
Please respect my decision. Recruitment completely shut down. #AllN #GBR pic.twitter.com/bz7begOERU

Among many of the reactions was that of Kentucky football tight end coach and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow. Marrow took to Twitter, saying “We have a great class with playmakers and future NFL players on our roster time to move on keep challenging the SEC For Champions ship. Go Big Blue.”

Marrow soon later tweeted “Good luck buddy I will be praying for you. I wish you all well.” which was assumed to be directed towards Robinson.

While missing out on Robinson is obviously significant for Kentucky’s 2019 class, Marrow is right in regards to there being a number of quality remaining players.
