The Kentucky Wildcats left no doubt as they left the Yum! Center. They handed the Louisville Cardinals yet another double-digit loss, 71-58. That’s now consecutive years in which the Cats have thumped the Cards by more than ten points.
As you could probably guess, the UK Postgame show was a blast over on ESPN 680 as Jason Ence and I took calls, texts, and tweets from fans.
Here is what we discussed:
- Tyler Herro was the her Kentucky needed and deserved
- Ashton Hagans is coming to his own and UK is a better team with him on the floor
- PJ Washington impacted the game in a myriad of ways other than points
- Chris Mack’s debut didn’t go his way but he’s not going away
- UofL’s players just aren’t very good
- Swaggy Cal is BACK
- Kentucky 3-1 after the last four game stretch should have fans thinking big
- We take calls from fans and some of them are funny
We will be back on the airwaves on Tuesday after the football team takes on Penn State. Join us!
Listen and enjoy. The opening song is worth it.
Go Cats. L’s Down.
