The rumors of Xavier Peters coming to Kentucky ended almost as soon as they really began.
Peters, a four-star recruit in the Class of 2018, has announced he will be staying with the Florida State Seminoles:

Peters had entered his name in the transfer portal, but it looks like he’ll stay where he’s at, for now at least.
There’s always a chance Peters to transfer next summer after going through spring football, but it sounds like Florida State sold him on being a big piece in their defense for 2019.
This is the second time a rumored transfer has turned down Kentucky this month. Current Miami quarterback and former UK commit Jarren Williams was reportedly set to transfer from Miami and strongly consider Kentucky, only to end up remaining with the Hurricanes.
Both Williams and Peters are both Class of 2018 recruits who were once committed to Kentucky.
