Good morning Big Blue Nation, and happy “Day After Christmas.”

Hopefully each and every one of you had a great Christmas and are preparing for the new year.

But before we turn the page to 2019, we have a major basketball game left and a big one at that, as the Wildcats travel to Louisville to take on the Louisville Cardinals.

This week begins preparation for the game, as the Wildcats look to capitalize on some recent momentum after defeating the North Carolina Tarheels on Saturday. Louisville has won three in a row, including a 73-59 win over Robert Morris on Friday.

A Kentucky win would give the Wildcats two significant non-conference wins before moving into SEC play and continuing the Wildcats’ recent string of success in the rivalry.

Make no mistake, this is a huge game for Kentucky as they look to add to their NCAA Tournament resume and this Louisville team is well ahead of schedule this year under Chris Mack.
