Quandre Mosely commits and signs with Kentucky Football

A big late Yahtzee for Kentucky’s secondary.

The Kentucky Wildcats have struck again on signing day.

This time, it’s three-star JUCO defensive back Quandre Mosely, who announced his decision on Twitter:

This is a major late pickup for Mark Stoops and his staff, as 247 Sports ranks him as the No. 2 JUCO safety and No. 16 JUCO recruit in America.

Mosely has played both safety and cornerback, though he’s expected to play corner at Kentucky, which is huge with Derrick Baity, Chris Westry and Lonnie Johnson all graduating. Mosely could have a big role in this defense as soon as he gets on campus.

But if he plays safety, Mosely could help offset the losses of Mike Edwards and Darius West.

This is also another big steal from Oregon, as Mosely was expected to pick the Ducks today.
