Kentucky reveals which signees are expected to be early enrollees

It includes two of Kentucky’s biggest signees in this class.

The Kentucky Wildcats have signed the majority of their 2019 class as of noon on Wednesday.

Ahead of Mark Stoops’ meeting with the media to discuss the class, Kentucky revealed which signees are expected to be early enrollees who will be part of the spring football season.

  • 4-star LB Jared Casey
  • 4-star DB Moses Douglass
  • 3-star DB Taj Dodson
  • 3-star DL Isaiah Gibson
  • 3-star JUCO LB Marquez Bembry
  • 3-star JUCO DB Brandin Echols
  • 3-star LB Tra Wilkins
  • 3-star WR WR DeMarcus Harris
  • 3-star OL Eli Cox

However, three-star JUCO defensive tackle Elijah James and three-star JUCO wide receiver JaVonte Richardson are expected to sign today and could be early enrollees as well.

If you’re going off of 247 Sports Composite, that means Kentucky is getting two of its top three commitments on campus for the spring in Jared Casey and Moses Douglass. As much talent as this defense is losing, both players could be in for major roles as true freshmen, and getting on campus for the spring will only help that.

And don’t sleep on Isaiah Gibson (held offers from Florida, Georgia and West Virginia) or Tra Wilkins (offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon). They may not have four stars or be ranked highly, but they too have the potential to make big impacts in 2019.
