Devin Booker gets revenge on Enes Kanter

This is a cold case of Cat-on-Cat crime.

@Enes_Kanter

On January 26, 2018, the New York Knicks destroyed the Phoenix Suns 107-85 in Phoenix. Former Kentucky Wildcats big man Enes Kanter dominated with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his fellow Kentucky basketball alum, Devin Booker, struggled to the tune of 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Oh, and Booker was ejected from that game with four minutes to go in the third quarter after shoving Kanter.

But that wasn’t the end of it. Following the game, Kanter took to Twitter to call out the star shooting guard.

Well, Booker got his revenge Monday night after blowing out the Knicks 128-110 on their home floor in Madison Square Garden. Not only that, but Booker went off with a season-high 38 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. And he let Kanter hear about it.

Kanter scored 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds and four assists, but he was an absolute liability on the defensive end. As good as he is offensively and rebounding, he’s one of the worst defensive centers in the NBA.

The Phoenix Suns official Twitter account also took the opportunity to take a jab at Kanter.

While I hate to see Cat-on-Cat crime like this, Kanter had it coming after calling Booker out last January. And it’s not the first time Kanter has taken a shot at an opposing player. He called out LeBron James not too long ago, as well.

I think it’s safe to say there’s no love lost between these two, but this might just be the beginning of a long feud as the two teams play next on March 6 in Phoenix.

I’ll have my popcorn ready.
