Kentucky vs. Georgia Game Thread

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Georgia Bulldogs for the SEC East.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

Here we are! The moment of the season that everyone has waited for.

The Kentucky Wildcats are taking on the Georgia Bulldogs today at 3:30 PM EST. for the SEC East! The winner of this game will go on to play the winner of the SEC West in the SEC Championship game.

It’s been a historical season to this point for Kentucky Football. The last time Kentucky was in this position was early in the 1970s.

While it hasn’t always been pretty, the Cats have accumulated a 7-1 record on the year. There have been many games that Kentucky had to fight and claw to the victory. In years past, they struggled to pick up those wins, but this year we’ve seen this team find a way to get the victory.

Georgia is favored to win this game, but when stakes are this high, you can throw out any prior expectations, especially when Kentucky has won five of six games as an underdog this year.

The game will be broadcast in front of a national TV audience on CBS. You can stream it online using CBS Sports and CBS Sports Mobile.

It’s going to be a fun game for both the players and fans today no matter what the result is!
