A handful of Kentucky Wildcats plan to wear the UK logo on their helmet past the team’s bowl game.

A few weeks ago projected first-round draft choice and Kentucky’s all-time sack leader Josh Allen accepted a bid to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

It has now been announced that Mike Edwards, Lonnie Johnson, and Darius West will all join him there.

As for C.J. Conrad, Jordan Jones and Derrick Baity, they will be playing in the East-West Shrine game which is another major senior bowl game.

For a program that has not seen one of their players drafted since 2016, this is a significant accomplishment.

All of these players along with Junior Benny Snell who seems to be heading for the NFL a year early have high chances to be drafted with Allen, Snell and Baity seemingly locks to go in the first three rounds.

Kentucky will be well represented in front of NFL scouts in these two games.
