The Cats (5-1) won their last game almost a week ago 77-62 against Tennessee State. Kentucky started slow offensively in that game, but held the lead at halftime. Keldon Johnson posted a career high 27 points to go with 7 boards and Reid Travis just missed a double-double with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
The Monmouth Hawks are still looking for their first win of the season, currently sitting at 0-7, their most recent game was a 60-57 loss to Princeton.
