Benny Snell is trying to make history and crush his rival in the same game.
Early in Kentucky’s clash with the Louisville Cardinals, Snell reached the end zone on a 24-yard scoring run, then went L’s down:

The run also had historic significance, as he moved into a tie with former LSU Tigers running back Kevin Faulk for third place on the SEC’s all-time rushing score list (46).
Snell is also in the running for Kentucky’s all-time rushing record. With 71 rushing yards so far, Benny Snell is now 136 away from the all-time record for Kentucky.
Snell reached the end zone earlier in the game, as he’s accounted for two of Kentucky’s three early scores in a 21-7 ballgame.
