The Kentucky Wildcats have now won five in a row after their win over the Tennessee State Tigers.
It was about as ugly of a start as you could imagine, as neither team could find any offensive rhythm, as the Cats fell behind 12-8 through the first nine minutes.
But once the offense got going, Kentucky cruised to a 35-27 halftime lead. The Cats would maintain control in the second half thanks to another 20+ point game by freshman Keldon Johnson, who is one of the best in college basketball at attacking the rim.
The defense looked much improved in this one, especially from beyond the arc, as the Cats finally held a team to under 10 made three-balls.
The Wildcats will now get a brief rest before facing Monmouth next week in Rupp Arena.
