The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action this evening, taking on the Tennessee State Tigers (2-3) as Kentucky tries to pick up their fifth win of the young season.
The Tigers, from the Ohio Valley Conference, like to shoot threes so it will be another test to see how Kentucky handles a team that thrives off getting shots up from the perimeter.
For Kentucky, it would be good to see some of the guards step up in this game, guys like Tyler Herro, Immanuel Quickley, and Ashton Hagans. John Calipari would almost certainly like to see continued improvement from his team when they’re shooting behind the arc, and this could be a game the Wildcats build some confidence by knocking down some outside shots.
As it has been for the last few days, it will also be interesting to see what lineup combination Calipari decides to start in this game.
The action tips off at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network, so make sure to tune in.
