While the focus has been on the football field, and rightfully so, the Kentucky Wildcats will take to the basketball court tonight in their second exhibition game against Inidana University of Pennsylvania.
The Wildcats hold the exhibition tonight with just a few days until the regular season opener in the Champions Classic against the Duke Blue Devils, in what could be the most-watched college basketball game of the regular season.
Tonight will be a night to try some different lineup combinations and prepare for the season opener. Will Tyler Herro bounce back after a rough game against Transylvania? Will EJ Montgomery put up another solid performance as he fights for minutes in a talented frontcourt rotation? Which lineups will click best, and will we gain a better idea of who Calipari will start Tuesday night?
We’ll see if we have answers to these questions, but if I’m making a prediction for tonight’s game, I think we’re going to see a big game from Nick Richards.
Tune in to the SEC Network at 7 p.m. to catch the action.
