Allen is now the sack king in the Bluegrass.

Josh Allen is now the Kentucky Wildcats’ all-time sack leader.

Allen entered Saturday’s matchup with Middle Tennessee one sack shy of setting the all-time school record.

It came on a 4th-and-1 play in which Kentucky was leading by only one score with the Blue Raiders in UK territory.

Allen sets the record at 26.5, passing Oliver Barnett, who ended his UK career with 26 sacks, 12 forced fumbles and 43 tackles for loss.

It’s been an amazing journey for the former two-star recruit, who has cemented himself as one of the best players ever in school history. It was also perfect that he got to set the record in his final home game as a Wildcat.
