The NBA now has one less Kentucky Wildcats player on a roster.
On Thursday, the Memphis Grizzlies waived point guard Andrew Harrison. It came as a bit of a surprise after he once again made the opening night roster, but with Mike Conley now healthy after missing most of last season, the need for him was greatly reduced.
On one hand, it’s always unfortunate to get cut and potentially not be on an NBA team (if he’s unclaimed). On another hand, the Grizzlies are in a serious rebuild and aren’t going anywhere this season, so this does afford Harrison the chance to land with another team that could make the playoffs.
I’m unbreakable

Whatever happens, here’s to hoping we see Harrison back on an NBA team very soon.
