Kentucky reveals unique posters for 2018-19 season

The Kentucky Wildcats have revealed their 2018-19 basketball team posters, and it’s a unique set this year.

Instead of your typical group of player pictures photoshopped into a poster, Kentucky is instead going with a unique theme this year.

These will be distributed at Big Blue Madness on Friday and beginning Saturday morning at Kroger locations throughout the state.

The men’s basketball poster features UK’s season-long “Dream Big” theme with the entire team and head coach John Calipari reimagined as caricatures inspired by the style of popular 1990s-era basketball posters.

It features original artwork by renowned sports illustrator Rob Zilla (Robert Generette III) in his first work with a college program after previously doing illustrations for multiple NBA teams.

The women’s basketball poster features UK’s entire team in front of the season’s theme, “poWEr.”
