Tuesday night was the night to watch former Kentucky Wildcats, as nine players saw the NBA hardwood. Bam Adebayo & Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s efforts came in losing fashion, while De’Aaron Fox, Hamidou Diallo, John Wall, Malik Monk, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Nerlens Noel, Patrick Patterson & Willie Cauley-Stein all played victoriously.

Adebayo scored just eight points and grabbed only six rebounds in his Miami Heat’s 125-113 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Besting Adebayo’s club were Kidd-Gilchrist & Monk, both who had stellar nights in a Hornets uniform.

Kidd-Gilchrist flashed a 14 point & eight rebound line while Monk lit up the hoop for 20 points on 7-10 shooting.

Further down the East Coast, the Sacramento Kings rose to 5-3 behind both Cauley-Stein & Fox in a 107-99 win over the Orlando Magic. Cauley-Stein recorded a double-double of 14 points & 11 rebounds, while Fox scored as many points and handed out five assists.

Out West, the Wildcat-heavy Oklahoma City Thunder racked up 128 points while holding the Los Angeles Clippers to 110.

Diallo, Noel & Patterson all saw playing time, though Patterson’s eight points in 20 minutes were most significant. Diallo scored just four points on 1-5 shooting as Noel scored two points before fouling out.

On Wednesday, an even larger night approaches as Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), Enes Kanter (New York Knicks), Jamal Murray (Denver Nuggets), Julius Randle (Pelicans), Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves), Rajon Rondo (Los Angeles Lakers) and Trey Lyles (Nuggets) are all expected to suit up for action.
