The Kentucky Wildcats will learn when their top in-state target is going this Thursday.
That’s when four-star athlete Wandale Robinson will make his college decision:
I will be committing at 2:30 on Thursday in the Western Hills High School gymnasium. All family and friends are welcome.

Robinson, a 5-9, 179-pound all-purpose back, has been playing in the Bluegrass by way of Western Hills in Frankfort (KY). He is currently listed on 247 Sports as the No. 4 all-purpose back in the 2019 class and has a host of big-time Division I offers, including Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska and Ohio State.
Robinson is effectively down to Kentucky, Ohio State and Nebraska, though it’s been the Cornhuskers getting the most buzz recently. He’s visited Kentucky several times but has yet to take an official visit there. He’s also taken an official visit to Nebraska and even said recently that the Cornhuskers were his leader.
Robinson has tremendous quickness and elusiveness when he breaks through the line, and he can outrun everybody when he gets into the secondary. The expectation is he’ll be used more a an offensive weapon that plays running back and wide receiver as a true freshman, and he’ll be an instant-impact player for whoever lands him.
Robinson would be a massive get for a Kentucky offense that’s almost certainly losing Benny Snell to the NFL Draft in 2019. But even if he were to be a full-time receiver, he’d still make a major impact in Eddie Gran’s offense.
