The Kentucky Wildcats are now 7-1 after about as improbable of a win over the Missouri Tigers as one can imagine.
Missouri led 14-3 midway through the fourth quarter and appeared to have the game wrapped up after stopping Kentucky on a 4th-and-goal play from the 2-yard line.
But Kentucky’s defense played lights out in the second half while not allowing a first down in the second half. Then late in the fourth quarter, Lynn Bowden Jr. returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown.
Kentucky would eventually get the ball down to the 2-yard line for an untimed down after Ahmad Wagner drew a pass interference penalty on Missouri. There, Terry Wilson completed a touchdown pass to C.J. Conrad to give the Wildcats a walk-off 15-14 victory in Columbia.
