Kentucky Basketball’s annual Blue and White game is in the books.
The Blue team took down the White by a score of 104-96.
The stars of the game included Tyler Herro, Reid Travis, Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery. Herro led all scorers with 34 points, Richards had 16 rebounds to lead the way, and Quade Green dropped a team-high 9 assists.
What did we learn tonight?
It’s hard to take anything away from a team scrimmage, but one thing is abundantly clear: This team is going to be very fun to watch.
Kentucky will next take the floor next Friday night in an exhibition against Transylvania.
Here are the best social media reactions from tonight’s game.

Really impressed with how active EJ Montgomery is at both ends of the floor early in the Blue-White Game. Kid is playing above the rim.

First half thoughts...
— Justin Rowland (@RowlandRIVALS) October 21, 2018
- Reid Travis already looks better than he did in the Bahamas
- Nick Richards' aggressiveness (first seen in the Bahamas) hasn't disappeared
- Quade Green has been the facilitator for the Blue team so far
Nick Richards with a huge block on Ashton Hagans and stands over him as Hagans falls to the ground. Thought Nick was going to help him up. Nope. Just adding a little ! to the block. 12 pts, 7 rebs, 2 blks so far.

Nick just swatted Hagans shot again. As Hagans crashed to the floor, Nick yelled “that’s the SECOND time” at him and didn’t offer help. Hagans laughed and said “damn” as he stood up.

Tyler Herro is gonna be college basketball's Post Malone.
— Myron Medcalf (@MedcalfByESPN) October 22, 2018
Herro has been very deadly shooting the ball. He’s going to have Malik Monk potential this year.

If our front court four of PJ, EJ, Reid, and Richards don't walk around giving hand gestures like Arn Anderson then I'm gonna be highly upset. #FourHorseman pic.twitter.com/K5d1a79Gga

I can't really think of a 5-man lineup Calipari might trot out there that isn't going to be really potent scoring.

Reid Travis buries a three, looks around like, "Did you all see that?"
— Ben Roberts (@BenRobertsHL) October 22, 2018
He has 23 points in this scrimmage. Still 15 minutes left.
Ashton Hagans can be any kind. Vaulted ceiling.@H23Ash @KentuckyMBB

I’m just seriously blown away by Tyler Herro, I really thought he would be a 2-3 year player and specifically a corner specialist. But man this dude can BALL!
— KY Clips (@KY_Clips) October 22, 2018
UK was 50% from deep in the Bahamas. Close to that again tonight. These Cats can shoot.
