The Kentucky Wildcats will look to rebound from their first loss of 2018 when the Vanderbilt Commodores come to town.
The Wildcats are coming off a much-needed bye week and should be rested and recharged after their overtime loss at Texas A&M in Week 6.
Vanderbilt is coming off a painful loss at home to Florida, a game in which the Dores led by 18 at one point but ultimately fell 37-27.
In terms of the quality of opponent and the fact that this game is at Kroger Field, this is one of the most winnable games left on the schedule. Staying focused will be the key this week, which is easier said than done with a pair of big challenges coming up at Missouri and then at home vs. Georgia with a potential SEC East title at stake.
But that’s no reason to sleep on the Commodores, who nearly pulled off a road win against a top-five Notre Dame team. Kentucky is in for a battle Saturday, but they should be prepared and ready to embrace it.
This game will kick off at 7:30 pm EST on Saturday, Oct. 20 on the SEC Network.
