Throughout John Calipari’s tenure in Lexington, he has found new and intuitive ways to keep fans involved with the best program in college basketball.
Now in his 10th year at the helm of Kentucky Basketball, Calipari has found yet another way to give fans unprecedented access to his team.
On Monday, the school announced that the 2018 John Calipari Coaches’ Clinic will have an online streaming option.
“We are trying to create the biggest and the best worldwide clinic in the history of basketball. Be a part of it,” Calipari said in a press release. “I could not be more excited about the opportunity to open up a practice to coaches across the globe.”
The clinic, which is set for Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joe Craft Center, will have a livestream available for purchase at CoachCal.com. The cost of the in-person clinic is $110. The livestream only will cost you $24.99.
“I’m always looking for ways to reach out and connect with as many coaches and basketball fans as I can, from podcasts to social media to speaking engagements across the country,” Calipari said. “This is the next step. I think this is going to be a home run for everybody.”
In addition, in-person participants to this year’s clinic will also receive two tickets per person to the Blue-White Game, which will take place that night at 7 p.m. EST in Rupp Arena.
