It looks like Tyler Ulis won’t be sticking with the defending NBA champions.

On Friday, the Golden State Warriors announced that Ulis had been waived. He signed with the team in September, but he was facing an uphill climb to make an already-stacked Warriors roster.

Ulis played a big role for the Phoenix Suns last seasonin 23.4 minutes per game with 7.8 points, 4.4 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 steal per contest. He should catch on with another team, though it’s possible he begins this season with a G-League team.

Because Ulis signed an Exhibit 10 contract, he will be able to earn financial bonuses for playing with the Santa Cruz Warriors if that’s where he ends up.

Still, it’s hard to see there not being one team in a league of 30 teams that can’t find a spot for him.

Where would you like to see Ulis end up?
