Kentucky Wildcats vs Texas A&M Aggies Game Thread

Two preseason SEC favorites square off in Rupp Arena.

Kentucky needs to get back on track, and one of the best ways they can do that is by defeating the Texas A&M Aggies tonight at Rupp Arena.

After a disappointing second-half showing in Knoxville, the Wildcats will have to show up to compete in order to defeat an Aggies team that has had a rough start to SEC play (0-3 so far).

The Aggies seem to be getting healthy as potential lottery pick Robert Williams is set to return against the Wildcats. A healthy Aggies squad was projected to contend for the SEC title this season.

With Tyler Davis and Williams handling the workload down low, Kentucky’s Nick Richards, Sacha Kileya-Jones, Wenyen Gabriel, and P.J. Washington will have their hands full.

To get you ready for tonight’s game, here are a few links to get you all caught up.

For Kentucky to pick up the win, here are five keys to victory for Kentucky.

Jarred Vanderbilt is practicing, per John Calipari. So that means he is probably going to play this season... the saga continues.

And it looks like P.J. Washington should be fine as it was confirmed it was only cramps that hampered him in Knoxville. Washington has played very well the last couple games, and Kentucky needs him to play well tonight.

So hang around here and discuss the game in the thread below. It should be a close game, hopefully with the Wildcats coming out on top.
