Remember when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was supposed to add depth behind Quade Green?
Shai has been a whole lot more than an addition of depth. Despite coming off the bench last night, he played 32 minutes against LSU, scoring 18 points and dishing four assists. He’s averaging 21 points, four assists, four rebounds and nearly three steals in the last three games on 49 percent shooting from the field, and with his size he’s been a great defender, something Kentucky has really needed from him.
The four-star late signee who was supposed to add depth may be the Cats’ biggest star by season’s end.

Benny’s frustration and his passion for the game are why he reacted the way he did, but he was not deserving of an ejection. It is unfortunate our fans didn’t get to see one of the best running backs in the country play against an excellent Northwestern team.
