If you’ve been following any sport in recent years, you’ve already seen how memorable plays will be set to Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic.
On Tuesday, Quade Green made one of the most memorable plays of what’s been a wild season for the Kentucky Wildcats.
At 17-5, the Cats have had a lot of heart-pounding thrillers that left fans catching their breath by game’s end. That’s been the case in pretty much every SEC game for the Cats thus far, and it happened again when Vanderbilt came to Rupp Arena.
The Dores would take command and build as big a lead as 14 in the second half. Even as the Cats battled back, a loss seemed imminent as the Dores made play after play to maintain a lead into the final seconds.
But the Cats would rally to force overtime, and with the game tied in the final seconds, Green broke through Vandy’s defense to score the game-winning layup, which is now getting the Titanic treatment:
Kentucky somehow wins!!!!!
