Kentucky is back in Lexington tonight to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Coming off of that huge road win in Morgantown over West Virginia, Kentucky will look to keep the momentum going against the Commodores, who are also coming off of a big win in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge over TCU.
The first time these two teams met in Nashville just a little over two weeks ago, the Wildcats came out on top in a game that was close throughout by a score of 74-67.
Vanderbilt is the last place team in the conference, but with their ability to shoot from the perimeter, they have the potential to cause some problems for the Wildcats, who will have to be mentally focused and avoid come in still buzzing from Saturday’s big win.
All in all, this should be a game that Kentucky wins without a ton of trouble, but Vanderbilt showed the ability to play Kentucky close earlier this season and could easily do the same tonight.
