Kentucky is in Baton Rouge tonight, preparing for their first true road game of the season as they prepare to take on the LSU Tigers (9-3) at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers come in winning six of their last seven after starting the season 3-2. Under first-year head coach Will Wade, the Tigers rank in the top 30 for points per game at 84.7 percent.

Kentucky is sure to see a heavy dose of freshman point guard Tremont Waters tonight, as he leads the team in scoring and assists (17.1 ppg, 6.4 apg) as well as leading the conference in steals.

Quade Green and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will once again have their hands full with Waters, who is also shooting the ball well from the perimeter at a near 45 percent clip.

Kentucky will have to endure a hostile road environment and be sound defensively in order to avoid the Tigers’ upset bid tonight.
