Ever since Tyler Herro retraced his commitment to Wisconsin, he’s faced a lot of heat from Badgers fans.
As a result of that heat, here’s what Tyler tweeted a few days ago:
People really got nothing better to do, but hate. All fuel to the fire.
— Tyler Herro (@raf_tyler) December 29, 2017
Tyler is just a young guy that loves playing basketball. Sure, he didn’t go where everyone else wanted him to go, but there’s no reason why anyone should hate on him for making that decision. He made a mature decision that will make him happy, and no one should knock him for doing that because that’s all you ever want to see for guys like Tyler.
Amidst all the hate came a positive vibe from one of the best players in College Basketball this year; Miles Bridges, who gave Tyler some support and words of advice:
Get used to it bro! Gets worse at the next level... https://t.co/RNoyzI9Uoi
— Miles Bridges (@MilesBridges01) December 29, 2017
Miles understands how crazy some fans can be, and he wants to let Tyler know it just gets worse.
Remember, Tyler is playing high school ball in Milwaukee, so fans on the road get rowdy and make sure Tyler knows how disappointed they are that he’s not going to Wisconsin. One fan was seen wearing a Kentucky snake shirt while the rest of them chanted overrated at Tyler’s last game.
If anything, we’re seeing all the hate fuel Tyler to play some outstanding basketball this season. He’s averaging just under 30 points a game and has scored 40+ three times along with one game winner.
Tyler is currently out for 2-3 weeks because of an ankle injury. We’ll be sure to keep you up-to-date on everything for Kentucky recruits!
