It was a wild post game show after the Kentucky Wildcats took care of business on the road beating the Vanderbilt Commodores 74-67.
Let’s get right to it with what we discussed:
- Wenyen Gabriel was our player of the game for all of the big/little things he did
- Hamidou Diallo is figuring out how to play when he’s not scoring
- Kevin Knox was a non-factor in the first half but came to the rescue late
- Nick Richards continues to struggle
- The combo of Richards and Sacha Killeya-Jones combined for 27 minutes and that’s not good
- Kentucky is winning in spite of being short handed and getting little from the bigs
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to be amazing
- Player sound from Knox and SGA
- John Calipari post game press conference
- Callers defend the SEC and rip into other ESPN 680 show hosts (Andy Sweeney, Lachlan McLean, and Jason Anderson)
- Lachlan McLean calls in to defend his honor, Andy Sweeney calls in to make fun of him
- We get into Cal’s comments about Jarred Vanderbilt
Our show has really come together. It’s funny, informative, and I have a blast doing it. Listen in and have some fun.
I’ll be back on the call Tuesday night after the Cats take on the Gamecocks. Here is how you can listen:
