Ware has had an outstanding career with UK, racking up 157 tackles and 27 of those tackles being tackles for loss. Ware has also been able to rack up 13 sacks, while 6.5 of those sacks came during this season. Ware was also able to grab one interception and three fumble recoveries.
Ware has been outstanding at UK and has become a fan favorite during his three seasons with the Cats. Ware has not got a lot of NFL hype, but I could see it happening. He is very talented and has NFL capability as a pass-rusher, but he’ll pass on those dreams and wait until 2019.
The junior defensive end’s future has at UK has been in question since being suspended for the team’s Music City Bowl loss to Northwestern. It was due to a violation of teams rules, but no further details were ever revealed.
During the bowl, Ware was seen in sweats and “cheering wildly” on the sidelines in the tough loss. He was replaced by freshman defensive end, Josh Paschal, and Paschal played well, starting off the game with a big third-down sack and finished the game with three tackles.
Ware is currently rated the No. 17 outside linebacker by nfldraftscout.com.
