The NCAA Tournament begins next week, and the NCAA is making a change to how teams learn their postseason fate via the Selection Show.
CBS Sports and Turner Sports today announced plans for the 2018 NCAA March Madness Selection Show, which takes place Sunday, March 11, at 6 pm EST. Instead of being broadcast on CBS as usual, TBS will carry the Selection Show this year. It marks the first time in 36 years it won’t air on CBS.
The two-hour Selection Show will begin with the announcement of all 68 tournament teams, followed by the release of the brackets and matchups.
This means we’ll know if bubble teams are in the field of 68 before we know any of the matchups.
The show will also be filmed in front of a live audience in Atlanta for the first time. The NCAA Selection Show will also be available on NCAA March Madness Live,
