Kevin Knox received some skills training In preparation for the NBA combine.

The former Kentucky star was in Miami at Gibson Park taking instruction from Nick Friedman. In the video, courtesy of HoopDiamonds, you can really see how talented Kevin Knox truly is.

Currently, he is still projected to be a firm lottery pick. It is hard to believe he genuinely considered a return to UK. Can you imagine a sophomore Kevin Knox?

It is easy to forget how young he is. Knox was born on August 1st, 1999. He is 18 years old.

Whatever team drafts him will have a player with such potential to develop over the next few years. The new style of play in the NBA seems to fit Knox’s style of play well. He can shoot the ball and drive to score. It is likely he is not done growing yet either.

Knox is obviously regarded as a major scoring threat but he will have to work on his physicality at the next level. Playing defense in the NBA will be another area he will have to show improvement.

Kevin Knox has the ability to become an all-star like several other former Kentucky players. Hopefully he is drafted into a manageable situation where he can thrive.
