The Kentucky Wildcats have updated their depth chart ahead of Saturday’s matchup with EKU.
Following last week’s win over Southern Miss, there weren’t expected to be many, if any real changes made here. The defense played great, though the offense can use a lot of work before SEC play begins in two weeks.
One position to watch for will be at center, where Bunchy Stallings is a question mark now after suffering an ankle injury last week. His absence could cause a lot of shifting around the offensive line.
Starting right guard Nick Haynes is listed as the backup center, so if he moves there from guard, that means Mason Wolfe or David Baumer could be the starting right guard.
There’s also the possibility that Drake Jackson starts at center or guard. He’s listed as a backup center for now.
All told, the depth chart is pretty much the same with the exception of an ‘OR’ being taken away at Darius West’s safety spot. He’s earned the right to be the hands-down starter after his big game vs the Golden Eagles.
