John Calipari's offering to Vernon Carey marks the fifth scholarship extended to members of the 2019 class. There's Carey, the No. 1 player in the class, James Wiseman (No. 2), Bryan Antoine (No. 7), Scottie Lewis (No. 8) and D.J. Jefferies (No. 37). Despite not having a recruit snagged yet for 2018, Calipari seems to be trying to get ahead of the game for 2019.
