We’re talking about televised practice, in Rupp Arena no less.

The Kentucky Wildcats will hold their annual NBA Pro Day on Oct. 8th, as originally reported.

However, there will be a new wrinkle this year, as the event will take place at Rupp Arena, and UK fans will get a sneak peek at the new Cats, as the SEC Network will televise the practice live from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is not open to fans, but you can still watch the Cats in action thanks to the SEC Network broadcast, which includes Sean Farnham and Seth Greenberg on hand to call the action.

The previous three years, the event was held in the Joe Craft Center, UK's on-campus practice facility.

All 30 NBA teams are invited to the annual Pro Day, where the Wildcats will go through a combine-like practice conducted by UK coaches and staff. Coaches and staff will direct the players through various agility and shooting drills in addition to 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmaging.

All 30 NBA teams were represented during the previous three seasons, and you can bet that will be the case this year with a host of NBA prospects working out.
