The Kentucky Wildcats will attempt to break the streak against the Florida Gators next Saturday under the lights at Kroger Field.
It was recently announced that the Wildcats and the Gators will kick off at 7:30 p.m. (ET) Saturday night on the SEC Network.
The early odds for this game are Florida being favored by 3.5-4 points. It’s no surprise seeing the Gators enter as a slight favorite, though one has to wonder how much the streak plays into it.
Oddsmakers obviously aren’t going to make Kentucky a favorite until they end their three decade-long streak to the Gators.
The atmosphere should be a fun one in Lexington with the night-game atmosphere, which always seems to draw a larger, more raucous crowd.
Kentucky will be looking to pick up their first win versus the Gators in over 30 years and advance to 4-0 on the season after picking up a huge conference win on the road at South Carolina.
It took a miracle hail mary for the Gators to sneak past Tennessee, so Saturday's matchup will also play a big part in the early SEC East race.
So head on over and purchase your tickets for the game on Saturday and get loud. Kentucky needs an insane crowd for the Florida game. #PackKrogerField (not quite the same as #PackCWS, but it works).
