James Wiseman and D.J. Jeffries get an early offer from Cal and more in today’s quickies.

USA Basketball

Good morning BBN, John Calipari has already gotten a start on his 2019 class by offering two players: the No. 1 recruit in that class, James Wiseman, and 4-star small forward D.J. Jeffries. Wiseman is No. 1 in ESPN’s rankings, No. 2 in 247’s rankings. He’s a big man from Memphis East in Tennessee. Jeffries is the No. 13 player in the class on 47; he’s from Olive Branch MS. Here’s to hoping Cal gets off to a good start in 2019 and secures some 2018 stars soon.
