Scout recruiting expert Evan Daniels reports that Darius Garland has scheduled four visits.
Garland, a star form Brentwood Academy in Nashville, TN, has narrowed his list to four teams. The four are the Duke Blue Devils, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats and his hometown Vanderbilt Commodores. The 6-1, 170-pound point guard also is reported to be working on an official visit with the UCLA Bruins.
Garland, a top-7 recruit according to Scout.com and the second-ranked point guard in the class of 2018, will be attending Big Blue madness on the weekend of October 14th in Lexington. He's the 11th ranked recruit on ESPN's Top-100 and the second best point guard, behind Tre Jones.
Some good news for Kentucky fans is Jones has already committed to Duke, meaning a Garland signing with the Blue Devils is considered unlikely due to a potentially crowd the backcourt.
The left-handed point guard averaged 15.7 PPG while shooting 76% from the field in three games during the Adidas Euro Camp.
