Kentucky Basketball: Our first look at the new Wildcats in uniform

Kentucky basketball held its annual picture day at the Joe Craft Center and Memorial Coliseum, and there’s all kinds of candid shots to be seen, thanks to Kentucky basketball’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. This is our first look at this season’s freshmen — Quade Green, Jemarl Baker, Nick Richards, Jarred Vanderbilt, Kevin Knox, P.J. Washington and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — in uniform.

This is without a doubt going to get everyone fired up for Big Blue Madness on Oct. 13, which will be the first time we really get a look at these guys on the floor.

Here’s a look at John Calipari’s youngest team yet (sometimes I feel like we say that every year).

Some outstanding stuff. Like I said, Big Blue Madness will be Oct. 13, followed by the Blue - White Scrimmage on the 20, and the season-opener against Utah Valley on Nov. 10.

Man, do I really miss basketball.
