I know, I know. It’s football season. But isn’t it always basketball season in Kentucky?

The first taste of real basketball Kentucky fans get is always Big Blue Madness, which is scheduled for October 13th. That feels both so close and so far away. Thankfully, men’s basketball twitter account (@KentuckyMBB) has come through with a few video clips from practice.

Do you like seeing basketballs fall through nets? Do you enjoy watching really tall people dunk? If so, these clips will hopefully hold you over until Big Blue Madness.

“Play fast,” says Coach Calipari. This really looks like it will be a fun team to watch.

Here is a little three man weave.

Kevin Knox getting a bucket in a 2-on-2 drill.

Wenyen Gabriel has a smooth stroke.

Another day. Another opportunity to get better.

Out here hurting these rims.

A little slo-mo P.J. Washington dunk for you.

Even Brad Calipari is getting buckets.

And most importantly, embrace the grind!

Go hard until the end.
