Former and current Kentucky Wildcats, De’Aaron Fox and Jarred Vanderbilt, met up for an open gym workout just outside Houston, TX recently.

The two played high school ball in Texas, Fox at Cy Lakes (where the workout was) and Vanderbilt for Victory Prep.
Fox was the star of last year’s Kentucky team, and as the No. 11 player in the 247 Composite, Vanderbilt certainly has the potential to be that guy for Kentucky this year. With Fox’s help those chances become even greater.
Vanderbilt also worked out at Texas Southern, showing off a solid jumper that could alleviate some of the fans’ concerns about how well this year’s team will shoot.

Looks awfully good to me.
And any health concerns we had about Vanderbilt in the past seem to be 100 percent gone; he’s participated fully in Kentucky’s offseason workouts, and we now see him working out during Kentucky’s break.
